Kenya's Isaia Lasoi was a close third in 58:10. There was a lot of excitement around Jakob Ingebrigtsen's half-marathon debut, but after going through 10k in 27:27 (a Norwegian national record and on pace for 57:54) he pulled up and stopped running. He continued on (with a couple more stops) to finish in 63:13. World half silver medalist Margaret Kipkemboi won the women's race in 65:11 over Judy Kemboi (65:43).
