He said the other day he’s not going to race the 800 anymore and he’s going to focus on the 1500m.
This is a good result from him - I hope he can find some consistency in championship racing.
As commentator Rob Walker says at the Olympic 1500m… “Favorites don’t always win.”
Regardless that World Athletics has only recently (last year) made the road mile a world record distance, the 5th Avenue Mile course is not record eligible. Separation=100% and the elevation change is greater than 1 m/km.
