According to multiple sources, Diamond League CEO Petr Stastny announced today at the technical meeting for the Weltklasse Zurich meet that Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone will not be allowed to compete in the two Diamond League finals next week as she's not eligible since she didn't compete in any regular season DL meets. Meet organizers are contemplating having her run in the pre-program presumably against less than stellar competition. *Sydney McLaughlin to double in DL Final - an event she's not eligible for - Update: DL will not let her run

The rules say that to receive a wild-card entry to the DL final, you must have competed in a DL regular season meet, but SML has not done that.
