Colin can sign with whoever he wants when he graduates or decides to go pro. NIL deals end on that day. Colin takes the money now and runs for Mike / Nike or whoever he wants when that time comes

I know it's early but Hoka NAZ Elite would be a great landing spot for Maggi Congdon. Abby NIchols, Krissy Gear, Katie Wasserman - all right in her wheelhouse as training partners.

right now Smiths pro's consist of 5/10K runners. his only 1500 runner is Nikki Hiltz which doesn't help Colin. again, in 2 years will be interesting to see what Smiths Nike group looks like and how and if Colin fits in.

The agent that did Valby’s NIL apparently stuck her with a 180day Right-Of-First-Refusal clause in the contract, so she is having to sit out 180 days (after graduating) to be able to fairly entertain offers from other companies.

2. Why would anyone choose to sign him or Congdon?? They've achieved zero NCAA titles combined
3. Why would you choose Hoka as your shoe sponsor? I've heard their racing shoes are terrible compared to all other brands.

I heard that the NIL deals basically lock you into that sponsorship after college. Heard about this with Olivia Markezich and some woman at Stanford who did an On NIL.

Well Congdon made it through US Olympic trials prelims and semis beating Wiley and Dani Jones at the line and was the only NCAA athlete to make it to the Semis (and final). She also went from 4:17 to 4:02...Same PR as Mia Ramsden now. ...That's why Maggi Congdon got a Hoka deal.
