It is too hot and windy (86 with wind gusts up to 22mph). Rojo should know this with his obsession on the weather!
I saw a press release saying that the stadium design would mitigate the wind, and a lot depends on how true that is. Mid-80s is warm, but I remember reading it was too warm for Cheptegei’s 5k record attempt and Jakob’s 2-mile, as well. We’ll see. 30 minutes.

Holloway narrowly got redemption for Lausanne, beating Broadbell 13.04-13.05. Daniel Roberts and Cordell Tinch a “distant” 3rd and 4th.
Nelly Chepchirchir won the 1K in a highly respectable 2:31.24, 11th all time. It’s probably her ideal distance. Reekie 2nd in 2:32.56, Moraa 3rd in 2:33.43, Nakaayi/Goule-Toppin 4/5 and Nia Akins worrisomely last in 2:38.30.
Men’s 100 was a good one: 1. Kerley 9.87 2. Omanyala 9.88 3. Blake 9.89 4. Jacobs 9.93 - Kishane Thompson was a DNS.
Warholm takes the 400H in 46.95, Ducos 2nd in a 47.42 PB, Samba 3rd in 47.69 (SB), Clarke 4th in 47.74, Magi 5th in 47.97. Five sub-48 is great for a non-DL event.
