Looks that way. 2:29-2:33-2:32 = 7:34 for Krop. Cornelius Kemboi the only other guy under 7:40, Kincaid 5th in 7:42.

i believe it. I threw an 800/miler into a 4x100 this year, and he absolutely crushed it, and we set a school record. but his hamstrings were tight for the next week. these endurance type athletes get a little taper, and they go to an intensity they aren't quite used to when they run a full speed 100 against competition. And Warholm absolutely is a huge volume trainer.
