If the weather dips to the low 80s by the time the race starts, I think we see a wr. The pacers cannot go thru 3k any slower than 7:35.
I’ve predicted WRs in the men’s 5k and women’s 1500 today. 12:35.32 for Aregawi and 3:48.83 for Kipyegon.
The wave lights in the 1500 are set to the meeting record…which is 0.07 slower than the new world record…
Since I know Rojo loves talking about the weather, at race time it will be 81F with a dew point of 68F. Far from ideal for a 5k WR attempt. I'd be surprised if the winning time is under 12:45 but I'd also be happy to be wrong about that.
