Yared Nuguse passed Jakob Ingebrigtsen late to win the 1500 in 3:29.21 as Sha’Carri Richardson (10.84) topped Olympic champ Julien Alfred (10.88) in the 100 and Grant Holloway broke 13 in the 110 hurdles for the 12th time. *Full Results

The eldest Ingebrigtsen son has gone public to Norway's largest newspaper Aftenposten with some of the details of the alleged abuse Gjert inflicted on his children. Even though the statute of limitations has passed on many of the alleged crimes, Kristoffer wants the world to know what happened as he feels like Gjert has been "allowed to set the terms" of their separation. "It's still good that people know. When Gjert is hyped up as a God in all directions, as he was for a while, he in some ways only gets worse."
According to multiple sources, Diamond League CEO Petr Stastny announced today at the technical meeting for the Weltklasse Zurich meet that Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone will not be allowed to compete in the two Diamond League finals next week as she's not eligible since she didn't compete in any regular season DL meets. Meet organizers are contemplating having her run in the pre-program presumably against less-than-stellar competition.
An unsponsored product engineer at HOKA took down UTMB over the weekend, Addy Wiley broke the American 1000m record, and this is the year of the women's 1500.

Bor won in 58:09, breaking Matt Tegenkamp's championship record of 58:30 from 2012 and said he want to break Ryan Hall's 59:43 half-marathon record in Valencia. Nathan Martin was 2nd in 58:26 while D'Amato won in 1:06:25 over Jess McClain (1:06:50).
Cheptegei suffered burns on more than 75% of her body when her boyfriend doused her in gasoline and set her on fire. The two were apparently arguing over a piece of land Cheptegei bought. Cheptegei finished 44th in the marathon in Paris and won gold at the World Mountain and Trail Championships in 2022.
She broke the previous mark of 1:21.63 set by Caster Semenya in 2017. Sam Kendricks won the PV with 6.01m, Grant Holloway the 110H in 13.14.

Before Halvorsen's victory in the 3000, no non-African-born man had ever won a flat distance race at World U20s. After Spain's Jon Azkueta won gold in the 2k steeple in the first World Jrs in 1986, an African-born man had won 73 straight men's distance events.
