VG has a story on how Jakob's agent, Daniel Wessfeldt, is living high right now as he also represents Mondo. I loved Wessfeldt's quote on what makes Jakob so good.

What else is an athlete's agent going to say about them? Is this supposed to be an objective opinion?
Jævla is a dialect word from the rogaland area and it’s an emphasize word that means “really, really”. Not a direct translation to “f*cking” because it’s used more widely, but it is a good translation.
Not Norwegian but I just lived in Sandnes for a year.

Apparently he can miss so much training and then crush the world's best who've missed no training but he's not doing anything dodgy. 🙄🥱😴

Jævla is common in most, if not the whole of Norway. Jævla comes from jævel which comes from djevel which of course is very similar to the english devil (which it quite literately means.)
So hell of a talent would be a closer to the direct translation, and sounds better to my ear at least. F****** talent sounds like something completely different, but I guess isn't completely off.

Whatever running he wasn’t able to do, I imagine he spent many hours cross-training. I have no idea if it’s possible to use an Alter-G treadmill with an Achilles injury but if so he probably did that too.
