Roe's 49:53 is a 10 mile world best for a women's only race (although there have been faster splits in half-marathons) and she took the US title by over a minute. In the men's race, Hicks beat out Alex Maier by one second. Interestingly, Hicks (who has previously run for Great Britain) has dual citizenship and is in the process of switching allegiance from GB to the US, so was eligible to win the national title, but not set the US record (Maier now has the US record at 45:15).
Grant Fisher ran for 3rd on Sunday and still won $100k while Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone said she's tentatively planning on running the 100/100H in Philadelphia and 200/400 in LA.

There were some entertaining races in Kingston, with Grant Fisher winning an extremely tactical 5,000 and Hiltz (1:58.23) holding off Diribe Welteji in the 800. But the big stadium was largely empty on Friday night.

Ken Stone is reporting in the Times of San Diego that the event was moved despite there reportedly being a $3 million title sponsor.
