Happy New Year!
Feel free to post any resolutions you have for 2025 and what do you want to see on Letsrun in 2025.
For 2025 I resolve to wake up with the discipline and ability to make good choices, something I haven’t shown once in life.
What do I hope to see on LRC in this New Year? Two things…
1. Even more new and unique spelling and grammar errors.
2. Reasons for thread deletions listed on the forum main page. It’s incredibly annoying to be following a thread, only to have it “disappear” without any reason given. Mod it and/or delete it if you must, but at least have the common decency to give us the reason why.

I'm trying to run 2000 miles in 2025. Still haven't even had a 2000 mile year
you didn't implement a single thing from the last ten threads like this

More vile posts from folks like newname!
its why I come to a running website.
I would like to see yourself and Rojo post more in the forums, no cap. I love the follow feature for SC members but it would be better if we got to see more opinions from our dictators.
You can start with not allowing posts to be deleted by exploiting the rapid down vote trick like the ones that were deleted from this thread already (and you can restore those posts). Then maybe you can actually do something to address the small number of truly disgusting trolls and sociopaths that constantly post terrible hateful often long rambling statements about specific people or groups. These statements are often the same ones over and over so you think you would have figured out a way to prevent them from being posted by now. Others are long rambling copy/paste jobs attacking the same person over and over again with the same vile sentiments, sometimes dozens of times in dozens of threads in a matter of minutes. Do something about that. They continue to do it because they know you do nothing to stop them. The answer isn't waiting until your mods run across them and delete them. The answer is figuring out a way to prevent them and a few others from making posts like that to begin with. That, more than anything else, is what makes this place a sewer and why it has such a bad reputation among so many people. Because people assume you allow that kind of trash and hate for clicks.
Why does every Rich in CA post get deleted?
Oh yeah. Why do you protect Deno from even mild ridicule?

More posts like if I was out on a run with a few of my white supremacist friends.
The moderation is shockingly bad. Way too heavy handed deleting tame jokes and anything remotely risque. If it isn't personal abuse, something illegal, or spam, just leave it alone*
*exceptions for fastboy threads, you can delete all those worthless things
I also want to know which mod is removing posts and banning people. It should say when a post is removed who has removed it.
It’s not just terrible, it’s also incredibly inconsistent. Either be woke and be much more heavy-handed, or support free speech and barely delete anything. Don’t do what we have now which is mods randomly deleting things with no consistency
If a post is removed there should be a link to click, easily accessible, to appeal the removal, like we can appeal bans. Now there is no way to get the post reinstated without calling letsrun and ain't nobody got time for that.
Bans currently take 3+ days to get a decision on appeals. This should be no more than 12 hours.
All the great threads of the past would be deleted now by the overzealous mods. With age, wives, and children the Brojos can’t risk someone suing LRC for some perceived offensive remark. I understand their caution, but don’t like it and know the quality and fun nature of threads isn’t as good it once was. The censoring of certain topics is very noticeable.
My one side girl usually asks me, "what are we doing today, baby?"
I typically say, "the same thing I do everyday. Try and take over the world, my doll." I'm not sure she realizes that I got that quote from a kids TV show.
It is unfortunate that some cheaters are protected and posts censored. They are always not pro athletes, just mentally ill hobby joggers seeking manufactured validation from an empty life. I can acknowledge that they shouldn't lose their job or family over race cheating or similar, but going unpunished while supposedly threatening lawsuit leverage is also a bizarre reward for a cheater.
