Genuinely becoming one of the biggest sports stars here - across all sports. Only comparison is Cathy Freeman and he is much more comfortable being a star than she ever was.
She was an amazing athlete, but never felt a natural personality. This guy loves the attention and is very engaging.
Watch him closely.
After two false starts. Would've been a little quicker if he had his reaction time from the first two.

Bolt split 9.92/9.27 for his 19.19 WR. Yohan Blake and Noah Lyles went sub 9.20 for the second 100 on the PRs

What gives me hope for this guy is that his stride is different.
He has the same knee lift as Bolt.
Only time will tell where he will max out but there is no denying he is something special.

I'd love to see this guy at USC or some USA school for three seasons at leat, he's running the 100, 200 and legs on both relays, love to see him in the NCAA,
Don't want to add him to that non NCAA list with.....

No one is touching Bolt’s records. Bolt is 6’05”. Gout isn’t even 6 feet tall. Bolt spread his ground forces across his whole foot, which kept him mostly injury free. Gout is putting all his ground forces on his forefoot, with one foot splayed out. He will have to keep his weight down or his Achilles tendons are going to be a problem area for him as he gets older.
Gout has the hairline of a much older man. Was he born in Oz or in Africa?
He needs some wind legal times and wins over international athletes.

Will he ever get to run a legal time though? Every awesome performance seems to be ruined by too much wind (even slightly too much wind). Australia/NZ are just crappy places to race in the summer - always so windy. I mean obviously he can break 20 in the 200 with a legal wind but still as of today he hasn't which is crazy.

Gout was born in Queensland to South Sudanese immigrants. If there were serious concerns about his age they would've come up by now, but there are none.

Here we go again...African, questionable hairline therefore dodgy birth certificate...unless of course same person was born in the west.
And by the way genius, he is shorter than Bolt , yes...most are, but he is over 6ft, however with a longer stride (more air time ) than Bolt at full speed.
