It's just an ad/promo. The rest of the meets are exclusive to major/paid channels and are less available than the other non-GST meets. This isn't saving anything, especially if it's excluding field events.

Why would there be field events at a ‘track’ meet. You want them to bring in break-dancers, too?

The sport (which is athletics) isn't being saved by GST, and I am very doubtful that the finances for this event are sustainable either. Paywalls/less availability, fewer events, more downtime that will be filled with ads and backstories/interviews that people don't care about = flop.
