When we recorded the Friday 15 podcast live on youtube, I was kind of mad at myself for not making the other guys give me concrete predictions. So I'm going to ask you guys and gals to make some here.
As Jonathan Gault pointed out in his GST preview, Grant Fisher has never won a DL (and as I added to his story, only once has he been particularly close (within 1 second of the win)). What I want to know is do you think he'll win this weekend? Yes or no.
He races the 5000 on Friday and then the 3000 on Sunday. Answer yes or no. If it's yes, tell me what race you think he'll win (5k, 3k or both).
Separately, what do you think the winning time will be in the unrabbitted men's 1500?
Put the winning time down to the tenth - so a guess would be like 3:33.1 or 3:39.2.
The first person posting under a registered name that a) Gets the Grant Fisher question right and comes within 1.0 second of winning time of the men's 1500 will win a LetsRun tshirt.
PS. I know my namesake Michael Johnson has said we must get away from focusing on times but I don't follow directions well ;) If you want to tell me your predictions for the winning time in the hot as hell 5000, go ahead.
My predictions: No. Time: 3:34.9.
