alcohol dehydrates you and increases recovery time. best to take it easy and listen to your body. sometimes not training is a better way to recover than to try to tough it out

If you are mentally weak it will have an impact on you. Back in 2006 I got hammered drunk the night before a 29:05 10,000m, 2 days later got hammered drunk before a 1:48 800m. If I tried it today I would be screwed.

Binge drinking turns into alcoholism real quick. Coming from experience, it shouldnt affect you that much but i wouldnt make it a habit
