What events can track add?

None.
Thanks!
They added the mixed 4x100 so how is it zero? If the American men can't execute exchanges in the men's relay imagine what a mess it's gonna be in the mixed?
Correct. DMR would have been better.
Gender equality?
"The LA Games have articulated a priority in gender equality. For the first time in Olympic history, the number of female athlete quota spots (5,655) will surpass male quota spots (5,543). The Games will also feature full parity in all team sports, with women’s soccer expanding to 16 teams – four more than the men’s tournament"
Well, Swimming has 4 strokes, so maybe there can be backwards running? Sideways? 1 leg?
(Before anyone trashes me - I'm a Swimmer!! Ok - now trash me.)

A 40 yard dash timed just like the NFL combine, but more like a field event. So an athlete gets three attempts and their best time counts. Or something along those lines. Would be fun to see them destroy the NFL times
4x800, DMR, 1500 SC
Sprinting field event wrote:

Top 8 come back the next day for 3 head to head races to determine the champ….

Didn’t he say individual events?
It's alot easier for NBC Hollywood, the owners of the IOC, to add events since USC is the main host and Trillon dollar Hollywood TV execs are mainly UCLA, USC, Stanford, Pepperdine, and UC Berkeley alums who grew up So Cal.
Crocs mile sponsored by Nike
3000m dual race walk/run
Cross country, DMR, mile (I’m open to getting rid of the 1500 if you think they’re too close in distance)
cross country is really the one that’s an obvious add. The sprint off the line would be one of the best shots of the games, and you could show off the parks/nature of the host city (every track stadium looks the same).
DMR or the 4x800 would be great because there are no distance relays, and I think distance relays are one of the best things for TV. They’re short enough (7-10 mins) that the average person won’t get bored, but long enough they can get invested and big moves can be made on the last leg.
and the mile is superior to the 1500

It's clear they want short events. So I was thining something like the backwards 100m.
What about the "hopping 100m?" I can't decide if you have to hop on the same leg the whole way or maybe two on left, two on right, etc.
10,000 meter steeplechase, beer mile and caber tossing.
XC in Winter. Summer is good rnough
