1. Kicks cannot be improved after the age of 21. It can only be maintained and declined.
2. Fisher in no way should or could improve his kick with respect to himself or with respect to any other past present and future competitor after the age of 22 without the aegis of drugs.
3. Fisher improvement of his kick also comes from having once no kick at all. Those legit athletes who did improved their kick had actually come from having some form of pernicious kick previously. Example Matt Tegenkamp. Fisher had none.

Troll. 14 minutes of jogging is not exciting. If the Jamaican crowd wasn’t into distance running before that race, they certainly aren’t going to be into it now.

Just the opposite. People who aren't distance fans don't know the difference between 12 minutes and 15 minutes but they saw 8 guys in it with 400 to go and then a mad sprint. If 2 guys broke away and ran 12:45, the non fans would have lost interest.
Can't blame Fisher for yesterday. He had one job: win the race. How he wins doesn't matter.
His job, like that of every other athlete in the meet, was to entertain. An entertained audience is the only way GST, and track in general, is going to survive. Not one guy in the 5k understood this.

What they saw was a 12.5 lap race where nothing happened for 10+ laps. They were bored out of their minds and probably stopped watching before the end. Oh, and we can all drool over Fisher’s kick but for the casual fan their reference point for his time would be what the women are running for the 400m. The casual fan won’t be impressed by that.
They didn't review the splits. Running 4 minute pace or 5 minute pace looks the same. A mad sprint is evident to the eye. I don't disagree that many distance fans don't like it but you don't understand casual fans.
