Day 1 Morning
Day 1 Morning

The 2024 World Indoors have begun. Bryce Hoppel looked fantastic and Isaiah Harris ran fast but Allie Wilson and Addy Wiley will both be going home. Plus Noah Lyles and Christian Coleman cruised into the semis.

"I definitely wish we were able to say how much it was," Lyles said. "...It's something that's been sucking since track & field started."

Worlds Betting

Christian Coleman is tipped by the sports books as being a 50% chance to win the 2024 World Indoor 60m title.

Plus Kerr was asked about Jakob Ingebrigtsen saying he could have beaten Kerr blindfolded at Millrose, but for once he had no response, saying only, "No comment."

Between Josh Kerr, Selemon Barega, & Yared Nuguse, three of distance running's biggest stars are racing in Glasgow but only one can win.

*MB: Race of the year (so far): Men's 3000 at World Indoors - Who you got? Kerr, Nuguse or Barega?

We break down all of the track action to watch in Glasgow, including a heavyweight 60m matchup and whether Cole Hocker can join Matthew Centrowitz and Bernard Lagat as American world indoor champions.

Over the last 5 World Indoors, the US has averaged 3 mid-d/distance medals per meet, and with Yared NuguseCole HockerElle St. Pierre, and Bryce Hoppel, the US should add to that total in Glasgow.

2027 World Outdoors to be held in Beijing That will be two straight in Asia as 2025 is in Tokyo.

We feel NAU's Drew Bosley. Bosley, who ran the NCAA record in the 3000 last year at 7:36.42, didn't make NCAAs this year despite running 7:43.98 for 3000 (which ranked him 17th) and 13:29.26 for 5000 (#21).
