I don't see how the AD tolerates this... I'm sure he is trusting of Jerry's process, but even within a rebuilding you can still have tremendous performances (i.e., NAU with the Mike Smith transfer)..

Embarrassing to have four men on your team who broke 4:00 in high school and not a single one of them did it this season. Cook is a fine runner but he should be a depth guy that maybe runs the DMR for them, not a runaway star. They're closer to Cornell and Northeastern than they are to NAU or UW. Embarrassing.

My super uneducated guess is that both teams will be looking to podium during the outdoor season.

Rebuilding what? Was Oregon bad at some point and needed a rebuild?

A team with that much talent isn't in a rebuild. They should be competing for titles. If not as a team, than certainly with individuals. Right now, there's no sign of life.

Or they all just redshirt again to complete the full year of stealing Oregon paychecks and scholarships.

Jerry has like 50 people on his distance squads and not a single one put up a qualifying mark. That's just malpractice. They barely even raced as well.

They have a huge transfer who will finish top 5 in XC. They have a kid who was the top freshman at XC 2 years ago. And they have the most talent of any team. I wojld not be shocked by a 3rd place finish next season.
