At the start line, the BBC race commentator introduced him as "Cole Hacker" -- maybe Olin's most notable moment of the race.

You do realize grant fisher did not trip because of mo Ahmed in the Eugene 5000? Krop cut into the inside of lane 1 on the final turn where Grant was, Grant lost momentum and nearly fell over Krop’s legs, and everybody who is too dumb to analyze what happened blamed Mo Ahmed…

Nothing frustrated me more than seeing a ton of teenage kids blaming the wrong person over a situation that happened in a blink of an eye where these guys are purely lactic and fighting for survival for a medal.

It’s called racing. Props to Hacker for a breakthrough performance. Mo Ahmed shows up every championship. They know how to race tactically, and it requires aggressiveness when everyone is going all out.

Olin Hacker was at worlds, but his Badger teammates Olli Hoare and Morgan McDonald were MIA. Mo Ahmed was also MIA. This is hilarious.

Anyways, dude told us he wanted to run BRAVE and he did.

I loved his race. It was exciting and he had an effect on the outcome.

Winning medals is obviously tough but I think when you're actually involved in the outcome of the race it's a success.

If you look at an outdoor final - 12 runners, 3 win medals, if you're in the hunt and help determine the outcome, you succeeded.

We had two in that position with one medal.
