Of course the biggest question is when she writes "My team is in place and I couldn’t be happier" who is on that team and are the Johnsons are part of it? Good she's gone pro, and I'd tentatively have her in on that 1500m US team with Sinclaire Johnson and Elly St. Pierre (I see Nikki and McGee missing out).
Who cares, lawsuit dismissed with prejudice shows that everything claimed by the media wasn't the full story. Way to stand for what your believe in AW, wishing a great career!
So she stated "3 days until I open up my indoor season and start my professional career as a 3 stripe athlete!"
That sounds like she is done at Huntington. Hopefully she is done with the Johnsons as well.
She is still a student at Huntington and even attended a team function this weekend. Since this is a pro contract and not just an NIL, she is free to choose any coach she wants. My guess is she will choose the same person that she wanted to be coached by at Huntington, Lauren Johnson. Lauren coached her to amazing success over her last couple high school seasons, culminating in a HS national record, an U20 USATF title, and a 5th place at World U20. The run of success between July and August is what drove her to change her mind on Colorado.
The truth is person outside her family knows Addy Wiley better than Lauren Johnson. She has described her as a coach, friend, mentor, etc. I think they will make an amazing team.
If Wiley goes on to make Olympic teams, break American records, win national titles, etc., I can see other runners approaching Johnson about being their coach. Lauren was not involved in the Nick Johnson mess at all; it was all his doing. She was as in the dark as anyone and is as innocent as anyone. Once the false drug accusations are cleared by the courts, Huntington/Lauren Johnson will have a 100% clean slate. Johnson may end up creating a team in Indiana that begins with Wiley the way Bosshard did in Colorado around Coburn.
Where's she racing this weekend? She's not on the entry list at BU or Washington's Mile City race, is she going to Dr. Sanders or Louisville which are world athletics indoor tour bronze meets? The post indicates a Friday race which would probably rule out Dr. Sanders.

My prediction is a low key race at GVSU.
She ran at camel city last year, so maybe that is it
