It's tricky because, obviously, times are such a good measure of things, but this year things have just become so inflated, where fast times don't really carry the same value. She broke Tuohy's 4:24.26 mark from 2023. In a slower heat, NC State's Grace Hartman ran 4:24.76 to almost break Tuohy's school record and move to #3 NCAA all-time. LSU’s Michaela Rose won the 800m in 2:01.15 in a race where Ajee Wilson was 6th (2:02.31).

Ingebrigtsen broke Nuguse's 3:46.63 record from Millrose by more than a second and also became the first man under 3:30 for 1500 indoors by splitting 3:29.63.
