And the record may stand no longer than 4 days...
Cameron Myers also, 3:47.48 at 18yo, 4th all time at the indoor mile...
I remember saying/writing in 2021: "Hocker and Kessler are goin to be a threat to Webb's 3:46.91 in the future. They have the potential to break it." Today that happened. Kessler did 3:46.90 and is now 2nd on the all time American list. 3:46.9 indoor is obviously better than 3:46.9 outdoor, I know. Also, Myers did a fantastic run with 3:47.48. He's the fastest junior in history (indoor AND outdoor). Reynold Cheruiyot did 3:48.06 (outdoor) in 2023.
(I wasn't too familiar with Nuguse back in 2021)

The 2nds by Hocker and Kessler in those races were not too shabby either.

I like his attitude and down-to-earth friendly personality in interviews. It's a refreshing break from the bro egos.

Worth a 3:29.84 1500

That would break the indoor 1500m world record, and would make him the first man under 3:30 indoors. Has he said what he intends to do next? Indoor USA’s is in two weeks. I’m not sure if there’s another good meet to take a record shot.
Meyers is off the chart great. Insanely fast. 18/8mos old !!!
Congrats to him as well as Nuguse and Kessler. Brilliant running!!!!!
