in almost all ling distance events(except women mile) a lot of PB and NR. So looks like a new cheat track

Well, yeah. But I’m here for it.
7 of the 12 fastest indoor mile times were set just now, these modern tracks are a bigger performance enhancer than super shoes

I ran in a marathon relay race on that track. It’s pretty steep on the turns. You have to be careful that you don’t hit the gutter on the inside lane.
I don’t think it’s a cheat track. The old track had a quite noticeable bounce to it, making it slower. The new track doesn’t have that bounce, making it faster. But it’s not big-time faster.
Indoor tracks should've been standardised decades ago.
Makes one wonder about World Athletics emphatically adding the word “short” in front of “track” for Indoor venues, lol.
Mods, again this is a great thread. The track is brand new and the times are out of the world. SInce the days of fast times at Stanford, cheat tracks have been fair game.

Lame insult.
If English isn’t your first language but you’re still willing to write or speak in it, that’s impressive.
He only had a typo in one word anyway! Literally one letter. Nothing wrong with that. Calm down guys.
Anyway, regarding Millrose. Could be a combo of a few things really. Let's not forget that people are raring to go, this was a big meet, shoes, new special sauce, Maurten, improvements in track surface technology, blah blah.

It all makes sense. We can say “cheat track” but we can’t say “Drug cheat” Shelby!
Short tracks or tracks with sport-specific illegal technology don't exist apparently. I was told this on letsrun so it's evidently true. Also, tracks are never shut down and remain open indefinitely. Gosh. You learn something new every day!
Go run a 10k on a cinder track using 19th century shoes so that you can compare your times to the times of your ancestors without “cheating.”
Really
Time will tell. Let's see how these guys perform when it counts: outdoors.
