As a Norwegian it hurts a bit every time Laros or Myers breaks one of Jakob's age records. These kids are really something else. But I am excited for them. The level now is ridiculous.

I think it is a bit important to note that Jakob's 1500m season bests in his late teens/early 20s were all significantly stronger than his mile season's bests (with the exception of 2017)

2018 (17): 1500m SB: 3:31.18 (3:47.92 mile equivalent ), mile SB: 3:52.28

2019(18): 1500m SB: 3:30.16 (3:46.82 mile equivalent), mile SB: 3:51.30

2020(19): 1500m SB: 3:28.68 (3:45.23 mile equivalent), no mile races that season

2021(20): 1500m SB: 3:28.32 (3:44.84 mile equivalent), mile SB: 3:47.24

Cam has clearly asserted himself as #1 Aussie middle distance. He's making the others look slow. Stewy today was awful, not sure why he went with Grant and Cole if he's clearly not in shape. Ky's run was impressive.

On Coffee Club, Olli Hoare said Cam came up to him after his 7:33 NR last week and basically said "I'm taking your mile record next week, you can take my 3k record". I thought he was a bit cocky since 3:50 is no joke, especially coming from 3:53. Shows what I know lmao, 3:47 is unreal.
