So with Nuguse just having set a new mile indoor record of 3:46.63 I’m sure Jakob will be super motivated to lower that record even further at Lievin this Thursday. What’s everyone’s predictions for what he’ll run? I’m going with 3:45.91.

No idea what kind of shape he is in but I would guess he believes the 3:47.02 (I think) WR before this past week-end at Millrose was doable or he would not be racing in Lievin.
If true, can't see that he sees 3:46.63 as a problem.
Is the track at Lievin as bouncy as at Armory/BU? As I think the track has been a big factor in all of these recent times. I see Lievin is 'Mondo' track but unsure if they're all similar specs or if USA paid for some extra gravy with their tracks.

3:45.52. Every time he’s ever made a special event he’s delivered.
Oly 1500m final?
Huh? That wasn't a specially set up race for Jakob. He is saying that everytime Jakob has gone after a record with pacing tailored for him he has gotten it. Indoor 1500 WR, 2000M WR, 3000M WR, 2 Mile WR.
I can't remember a single event where he has said he was chasing a record and didn't get it
He must think he could run sub 3:46 if he was this confident to set this up a week after what was to be a Kerr/Nuguse WR fight. There’s no way he would be attempting this otherwise. No disrespect to Kessler — he ran a fantastic race and is now a 3:46 miler. Same with Myers — a 3:47 miler. In a paced environment and until proven otherwise, Jakob is faster than both of them. I think he lowers Nuguse’s record by at least a second.
Are they doing 1500 splits en route? Nuguse came through 1500 at Milrose in 3:31.75, just north of a second off of Jakob’s 3:30.60 indoor WR. If Jakob is feeling great going into this race, he could also lower his indoor 1500 WR.
