They think the changes GST made for Philly were mostly good, but that a 3000m for the "long distance" group didn't work. They got half the prize money (since they were only running one race) and a 3k isn't a long distance race, nor an event at Worlds or the Olympics. Cole Hocker said that he would have raced the 5000m for this meet if they had it, but he didn't see the point in running a 3k.

That didn't stop protests though as there were some people with shirts and signs saying "Save girls sports" and a plane circled the stadium pulling a banner that read, "No boys in girls sports!"

Jonah Koech wasn't even supposed to be in Sunday's 1500. As they approached the bell, he was in 13th out of 17. A lap later, he was the champion. He is just the third American man to win a Diamond League 1500/mile and the first runner sponsored by Under Armour to win a DL race. His 3:37.27 pre-race pb is also the slowest of any man to win a DL 1500/mile.
