Additionally, UNC coach Chris Miltenberg corresponded with Jonathan Gault today.
Wolfe has a foot injury. Milt said it was not have a stress fracture but they did not feel it was worth risking running on it at regionals/NCAAs.
From Milt:
"Some inflammation popped up in his foot middle of last week and we did not want to force it or risk making it worse. He has way too bright of a future to take any unnecsssary risks. This is heartbreaking that one of the best careers in collegiate history will end this way but it is also just the beginning of the exciting future he has ahead."
I'm hoping if I downvote you enough, it won't be true. I'm gonna log on to my work computer and downvote you again. Don't take it personal, I just hate you
"Breaking: A source I trust just told me Parker Wolfe is out of NCAAs with a stress fracture Let's hope this is a rare instance where a messageboard rumor ends up being false."
I have no idea why a volunteer moderator deleted this thread for being "factually incorrect." The OP very specifically said they had heard from a source and hoped it was wrong. They couldn't have been more factually correct. Whether their source is correct or not will be determined.
Jonathan Gault has texted coach Chris Miltenberg and given the fact we haven't heard a response back makes me think something is up with Wolfe. If he was 100% healthy , wouldn't you just text back immediately, "That's a crazy rumors. He's totally healthy. You'll see him on Friday."
Now it's possible Milt was just super busy late at night at the meet.
So I have restored this original thread and merged it with a new thread that was titled, "Is Parker Wolfe out of NCAAs? Front page says it might be"
Volunteer mods, If you see a thread on the homepage, think three times before deleting it as that likley means we think the topic is worthy of discussion.
dang... yeah I hope the source is wrong because that would be a horrible thing to happen. If it's true, hopefully it's not bad enough and he can get to USA's - they shoudl be later this year right?

in which we all see, out in the open, just how amateur this whole operation really is
