So serious about her sub-4 hour marathon attempt, yet carries a phone with her on the run, gets mad that bf calls her on the phone, during the race, that's carrying, during the ultra serious race.

If it was true, I'd personally side with her though. Why in the hell would he go onto the course? Let her finish the race. Stop making her day all about you. But then I'd also side with him in the sense of - why in the hell are you talking about this on tiktok?

Always remember when Tim Hutchings was commentating on tv for a marathon when someone proposed on the finish line.
Was expecting him to say how romantic, just lovely etc but he said 'What an idiot!' Classic.
He was not very complimentary either about the guys setting of with the leaders for 1 mile then stopping.
I remember watching the 2018 Boston and the announcers were talking about Yuki like he was just some random guy who wanted his moment of fame when he gapped the field at the beginning. Then they caught him and he dropped back and they made a few more comments before he came back and won.
Attention-seekers come in many forms. My question is: did this guy do this stunt for her or for himself? Theres probably a way this thing could have been staged to be cute and romantic, but it shows me the guy didn’t know enough about his “intended” to get the importance to her of this race. His little performance screws up her dream/goal and puts him in a false light as a cute romantic and her as a bad sport for not appreciating him. Good for her for having a dream and holding on to it. She probably did herself a favor cutting Romeo-gone-wrong loose.
I have never carried a phone in any race but I bet at least 80-90% of people do today. That number probably jumps to closer to 95% in a marathon. Some listen to music, some take selfies throughout the race, and who knows what else. They make running clothes today with phone-sized pockets so you don't need to hold them in your hand anymore.
For the good men who do stay loyal after getting trapped into marriage, it is a very painful experience of discipline, especially if the wife fails to fulfill his needs. Remember, her needs are fulfilled as long as he works and makes money with divorce being an insurance policy. If he quits his job, she gets histerical and wants divorce, but if she quits sax, the man is expected to be quiet or shamed if he brings up the topic. Go figure.
