As a former, long-time Democrat, it's simply insane that Democrats want to allow men in our sports. How could anyone with common sense who cares about women's sports vote for them?
And yet every leftist is always saying to me, "Why do you care? It's such a small number of girls."
What is the acceptable amount of state titles that I have to be ok with?
All never to be heard from again absent a bunch of right wingers wanting to constantly talk about it.
Maybe we'll hear from these men again, maybe we won't. But they've destroyed the youth sports experience for countless girls with their charade that they can never get back. I'm sure you do want us to stop talking about it since it reminds everyone how insane and demented you dems are.

Just to balance the ledger, To a degree: I’m a known “leftist” and “progressive” and I say to you: although I disagreed with a poster who said biological males were “dominating” hs t&f, I think it’s cowardly and opportunistic for these guys to compete against girls/women. In my day we would have cut these “cs” posers to the bone with ridicule. However sincere some of them may think they are—or the parents who have their backs—a lot of them are in it for the publicity and potential celebrity and dollars. They should be made to run or throw or jump wearing some sign of their “specialness” in events with bio females, and/or asterisk beside their results. Poor sportsperson-ship.
(actually meant for the poster who said all lefties support the fake girl athletes) but please forgive). humble lefty.

It's getting to the point where parents are going to have to intervene. Booing the trans athlete, or even stepping out onto the track to stop the athlete from competing in a non violent fashion is what is needed.

There’s what, an average of four high school track divisions per state? So, let’s say 200 divisions in the country. Now multiply 200 by the number of track events at each meet. For easy math, let’s say 10 events (I know it’s more). 200 divisions x 10 events per division = 2,000 state championship events nationwide.
You say there were 3 transgender winners this weekend. Divide 3 winners by 2,000 events and we get 0.15 percent of events won by a transgender kid. Seems like a lot of fuss for 0.15 percent of winners.
As long as it’s under 1 percent, I think it’s much ado about very little.

This mindset is why the problem still exists.
How big of “a problem” is it if we’re talking about less than 1 percent of events?
I just think the amount of attention this is getting is way out of proportion to how much it’s actually happening.

Your forgetting most sane states adhered to Trump's ban. Odd that only in the leftist states that defied the ban is this a major issue. If all states decided to defy the ban, the numbers would be staggering. As it is, the numbers are only staggering in the idiotic states that allow this nonsense.
On top of that, even one instance of this occuring is too much. It's unnecessary and easily preventable.

Exactly. It's like illegal immigrant crime - shouldn't have happened in the first place.
I avoid the fake MSM but I do read LR and this issue is out of control. it has gotten much worse. Trump has not stop this and that’s disappointing.
We live in a nation with balance of power. There are limits to what the President can do; he is not a dictator with absolute power like Kim Jong Un. If he could make it illegal with the swipe of a pen, he would. He is putting pressure (within his power to do so) on California, Harvard, etc., but there are judges that are doing everything they can to undermine him. Don't blame Trump; blame the judges that are allowing this nonsense to continue. This issue needs to be pushed through the courts to the SCOTUS so they can make a final determination and (hopefully) make Trump's ban constitutional.

How can the numbers be staggering when the population of transgender people is so low to begin with? What percentage of kids are both transgender and athletic enough to win a girls state championship? Has to be less than 1 percent.

As little as 15 years ago or so, if a single nationwide case of a grown man destroying girls in sanctioned school sports occurred, it would be a huge national story. Now all we hear is, we'll it's only a handful in one spring sport in every state it's allowed. It should never occur even once, especially when the federal government has responsibly banned it.
