Geoffrey Kamworor And Agnes Tirop Win 10,000m Titles At Kenyan Championships Kamworor ran 27:24.76 to just win over Rhonex Kipruto (27:26.34) and former world U20 champ Rodgers Kwemoi (27:26.92). The women’s race was even closer as the top three finished within 1.3 seconds of each other. Tirop ran 31:25.00 (fastest-ever 10,000m at altitude) to Hellen Obiri‘s 31:25.38 and Rosemarry Wanjiru‘s 31:26.22.

In the women’s race, Sharon Lokedi, the 2018 NCAA 10,000 champ, was the surprise winner and American Sara Hall the even more surprising runner-up.

LRC After A Year Of Ups And Downs, Josh Thompson & Cory McGee Stay Red Hot And Claim 2019 Falmouth Mile Titles Earlier this year, Thompson ran 9:02 for the steeple but now he’s one of America’s best in the 1,500. As for McGee, just weeks ago she was DQed at USAs. But both have been running amazingly of late and it continued tonight at Falmouth.
