I read somewhere Muir is out due to calf injury, but she is likely to get selected anyway.
Mo Farah gets the by for 10000?
As Euro champion I believe she gets auto selection...
As reigning champion yes.
Neil Gourley with the upset! Grice and O'Hare go home devastated.
Rojo, please make a video analysis of Grice's tactics in the 1500 final

I double that.
Ran much extra. Poor tactics. Paid for it that last 100m.
Looks like the NCAA system teaches well.

what happened to Chris O'hare?
I wish O'Hare would strike early for home more often than he seems to do. Gourley owes Kerr a beer for opening up that inside line. Grice with poor tactics all around.
Who wants to bet that grice makes the team. One crazy 3.30 run is amazing but in a race like this where 5/6 have the standard - should just go with top 3.
Grice has the time but you could say weightman trajectory better coming back from injury.
Leader to leader Splits:
300m - 49.2
700m - 1:57.4 - 68.2
1100m - 2:57.07 - 59.67
1500m - 3:48.36 - 51.29
Last 800m - 1:50.96
Last 400m - 51.29

It's going to be a tough one for the selectors.
Grice ran a bad tactical race. Will be crazy (but not exactly illogical) if a Brit who has just ran 3:30 and faster than Steve Ovett doesn't get picked by the selectors.
I'm not sure Wightman is on a better trajectory. He started the season (coming back from injury) very well, but hasn't really progressed much since then. Then again, he is a proven championship performer.
Best scenario - selectors pick Wightman for 3rd spot in the 800m, and Grice for the 1500.
