Is that Canova's Kwemoi?
Great performances.
Canova's runner is Ronald Kwemoi
27:24 at that track at that elevation..what would be the sea level equivalent..?
sub-27 for sure.
It was in Nairobi. 1795m of altitude
Rhonex is my "favorite" age/drug cheat at the moment, taking the mantle from the (once great) Kwemoi. Peak clown world on display here.
Umm how about 26:30 ; the guy is fit
Where u at ches?
Did Paul Tanui compete?

What a contrast from Ethiopia’s qualifier.
Presumably a more tactical affair at altitude in Nairobi versus a substantial negative split exhibition in Hengelo.
How are they in contrast to the Ethiopian qualifiers? Seem fairly similar to me.

Nothing at all stands out? Let me ask you how they seem “fairly similar” beyond the obvious fact that both groups are East African and both ran 10,000m?
Those poor "no-name" Kenyan women that run 32:13 at altitude and don't even catch their name for results. Dang.

In Contrast probably refers to the one 10k with 7 sub 27 performances. Seems like some contrast to me

Hengelo 18m of altitude. Nairobi 1795m of altitude...

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I loved to watch him compete against Farah when he was running well a few years ago. He's been pretty useless as of late though, I think his 5k season best is only like a 13:23 or something (poor for a 12:59/26:49 guy), so I guess it's not really a surprise.
Whoa I didn’t even notice at first. #brutal

Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Matt Choi was drinking beer halfway through the Boston Marathon
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
