Maybe he started secretly eating meat again. A lot of vegans cheat behind closed doors.

Awesome for Sage! Yes, he's had a few bad races (as he admits) and I'm so happy he was able to crush Pikes Peak today. It was a super deep field and Sage showed his mettle against the very best.
Sage gets so much flak here it's great to silence all those people through results only. Crushed it.

Great run by him and Killian today. It just shows us how special Matt Carpenter was/is, his time is going to be very hard to beat. I also remember reading that Matt Carpenters VO2 Max was 92, he never wanted the attention and he was the best in an era with Chuck Smead, Pablo Vigil, Rick Trujillio, etc.
He needs some beef for sure. His marathon time keeps going up. How is he ever going to make the trials for the Olympics?

Put pikes peak in the Olympics?
Seriously,
Congratulation sage.
Honestly I don't know what all the Sage haters here are going to do with themselves over the next couple of months.
I think veganism is foolish but I've also never run a 2:16 marathon like Sage, so what do I know?
Good for him. He is nothing but nice despite the legions of trolls and keyboard jockeys here who couldn't run half as fast as him.
Personally I like his YT videos and find some of them helpful.
Congrats Sage, well-deserved.
Great run by him. So happy for him

That 2:16 was before he went vegan. Now he has a hard time breaking 2:20 for the marathon.
I opened this thread thinking it would be about Don Sage.

lol... Same. Didn't realize there was another Sage competing.
Well done Sage & many more, I hope!
Wait I'm confused.... This guy ran a 2:15 and people think that's notable? Or is this a joke thread?

He's been vegan all his life.
