Sydney Out Of Worlds
A minor knee injury that won't require surgery is keeping one of the sport's biggest stars out of Worlds. And it comes just two days after she committed to racing Bol in the 400h in Brussels.
- Kersee tells LA Times SML's injury won't require surgery but that she could not run without the risk of aggravating injury Reporter Andrew Greif has spoken to Kersee about SML's withdrawal and writes that "(Kersee) said the medical team agreed McLaughlin-Levrone could run but not without the risk of aggravating an injury he termed 'nothing major' into something more damaging."
- Lynna Irby-Jackson Will Take Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone's 400m Spot For Worlds Irby-Jackson, who was 4th at USAs, was already training for the 4x400 relay.
