WTF USATF?

Two years after botching the selection process for the Pan American Games, USATF has messed up again, leaving athletes in a web of confusion and frustration. Earlier this week, they announced a radically different marathon qualifying system that is based on just four races - three of which have already been held. Go figure.

    Crazy New Details On Agnes Tirop's Murder

    The craziest info in this article is that Tirop was likely killed two days before her body was found despite the fact that neighbors and her sister (who was staying in the same house) heard screams the night she was killed. The article also alleges that Tirop's husband had been transferring ownership of her property and cars to himself before her death.

    The report also says the Ukraine anti-doping organization reported six tests as out-of-competition when they were actually in-competition so that the athletes would meet the minimum number of out-of-competition tests required to go to Tokyo 2020.

    (link fixed) Six women who recently left Oregon say they felt devalued as individuals and at risk for eating disorders because of the data-driven approach to their weight and body fat percentages. Head coach, Robert Johnson, defended the program's scientific approach and use of DEXA scans (medical imaging tests using X-rays to measure bone density and body fat percentage).
