Quick answer - no 62 minute half. Parker Stinson has a half PR of 62:20 to go along with a 2:10 marathon.

With shoes and other “assistance” - almost certainly.

No WRs for October 24th, I'm sure of it. These things don't grow on trees. I do think we will be in for a treat in both the men's and women's races though. For the men I would go Amdamlak Belihu, but he doesn't seem to be on the entries so I'll count him out. Here are my predictions for the men that will break 60 and the men that jump out at me:

I am more interested long term how many years until either of these top two mix it up with the seemingly unconquerable 4 Kenyans all born within 12 months of each other over the classic distance?
