A Rough Start To Mo Farah's Summer
25-year-old Ellis Cross (who has track PBs of 13:50 and 28:47) ran 28:40, surging away from Farah in the final meters as he finished in 28:44. Post-race Farah said, “I wanted to test myself and see where I was. I would have loved to have come out here and win but Ellis did really well and deserved it. ...I’m just taking one race at a time. From today it looks like there’s a lot more work to be done.”

Running Gets A "Non-Binary" Division
- Brooklyn Marathon And Half-Marathon Is One Of The First Races To Offer Equal Prize Money For Non-Binary DivisionThe men's winner at the Brooklyn Half Marathon ran 1:01:47 and won $5,000. The non-binary winner ran 1:12:48 and also received $5000. In the full marathon, the men's winner won $5000 for 2:27:46 while the non-binary winner ran 2:35:17 and won $10,000 (an extra 5 grand as a NYC resident).
