Great runs frim both Lindh and Hinriksdóttir. Tears as usual from Sharp.

The 800 women are drop dead gorgeous except for the top 3 from rio!!!
Except for the top 3, they are also quite slow.

In the women's steeple, the rabbit forgot she had to do the 1st water jump. She started to go around it, hopped back in and took out the race favorite Assefa when she did come back in as shown here.

ruined my perfect fantasy diamond league - i should get compensation winning points for this
so why no 5000m in this meet?
they can't get enough elites to show up? or time constraints?
or because another DL is only a few days away?
track should have at least one distance event, steeplechase doesn't cut it
It looked like the rabbit not only knocked people over, but ended up in last place after the jump. Does she still get paid for that F-up?

hope not
She should be fined for that one.

So does the women's steeple rabbit not get paid or what?
The mile race

I hope she did that intentionally to protest against using rabbits.
Great run by another young Norwegian athlete in 400h.
This meet might most be remembered for it's funny moments and for the Norwegians winning 2 events.
Niyonsaba gave Semenya a run for 700m but then it was all Semenya. Niyonsaba's bib was on upside down.

The top 3 from the Olympics just keep rotating the order of 2 and 3 with Semenya the constant 1.

Such an amazing run. And a legit (not set up) win for the home crowd. Norway seems to have quite a few genuine prospects coming through. Loving the Norwegian fans, as well.
Karsten Warholm, the 21 year old Norwegian who won the 400m hurdles, was the World Youth Octathlon champ.
Until now I didn't know the Octathlon existed. It's the Decathlon minus the discus and pole vault with a 1000m instead of 1500.
Results in Oslo
