If I'd had any faith in clean athletics this would have shattered it.
OMG bunch of SKINNY jealous long distance joggers.
You guys have no proof at all that he is on drugs. Even if he was, all that MUSCLE, he was still working hard for it in the gym. You SKINNY runners think you take some steroids and you will get BUFF/SHREDDED. Well guess what, you're wrong.
You still have to put in the time in the gym, which you have probably never seen from the inside.
Happy Friday, my tinder date is calling.

Is that why Canseco always laughed at the guys busting their butts in the gym when he didn't do half as much but used PEDs instead?
Letting up? No. No he was not.

Forgot to post a link that pretty much sums up what I was trying to say:
http://media.spokesman.com/photos/2013/07/20/spt_20_gatlin_t1240.jpg?7f23637535d20b16ab88ea2d1e0f5f5d4250a324He didn't let up. Isn't Doha the same meet he ran his dirty WR 9 years ago? lol
so we're supposed to believe that he's 10 years older, not using PEDs anymore, and somehow faster than ever?
Sprinting times, like home run totals in baseball, have completely jumped the shark for me. I simply don't care anymore. Sad

Yes. That's the 9.77 I referenced earlier that tied Asafa's WR but was never ratified because of his positive test from a month before that race.
Also where that Nigerian guy ran 9.86 who never had broken 10 and never did after that.
X-fit reject at it again. You don't have to work just as hard on juice fool. Even if you put in 50% of the effort of a natural you will still be ahead. Of course as soon as you get off you'll go back to being the same skinny pimply little pencil neck you were before you got on your heroic cycle. Unless you take some novadex which should restore your natural test levels to the pre pubescent levels they are usually at. Having said that, Bolt, Gatlin etc are dirty as hell. Just like Lewis, Johnson before them. Whoever thinks that Bolt is clean needs to get off this site and join www.iamagulliblemanlet.com...where all your fan boy realities come true

Bolt ran 9.72 in May 2008.
He also ran 9.76 in early May that year.
Also, Gatlin himself ran 9.77 in May 2006 (but the time was later removed from the books)
It may be fair to be suspicious of anyone running that fast in May, huh?
No, because different athletes peak at different point in the year, some are able to hold their peak for a longer time
Someone running fast early has nothing to do with doping and shouldn't make you suspicious

Wow. I want whatever Gatlin's got. Jesus. 9.74 letting up. Seriously. Hand the guy the gold right now. Barring a doping positive, how does he lose?
That has to be the fastest time ever run in May right?
That was amazing.
Have you noticed in the Penn Relays and the IAAF World Relays how much he was having to slow down to do the hand-offs. It wasn't because the 3rd leg was slow its because he's an order of magnitude faster than everyone.
I've wanted to believe in his turnaround. At this rate the guy is going to bring doping through the gills to new levels.

I had my best speed at 33. It's really not that big a deal to be faster as you get older.
The old truism used to be that you reached your best speed in your early 30's.
Not sure what the new truism is... Wait this is LRC, never mind.

Sigh. This isn't helping me ;)

Not bragging, but I predicted Gatlin would go sub-9.8 in his first 100m. At the Penn and World Relays, he looked like a man against boys. Also, Gatlin stated in an interview that the world record is in play. To make a comment like that, you have to know your training is going very well. I am also predicting Ryan Bailey will go 9.8x in his next 100m. This is based on his indoor 60m, which was outstanding for big man and in that race in Jamaica he was left in the blocks badly and still ran 9.93.
TrackCoach what do you think Bolt will run given how he's looked?
Gatlin runs 9.74 at 33. Everyone - he's doped
Meb runs a PR at 39. Everyone Meb just works harder. Nothing to see.
It's ALWAYS impressive when a two-time drug cheat champion can run one of the fastest times ever. Kudos to Gatlin for showing us all how long PED benefits can last. Hats off to the guy.
Meb's PR is no where near the WR. Gatlin's is not far off. Secondly, Gatlin got caught doping, and now he is faster while supposedly being clean? Meb likely could have run faster than the PR he set in Boston in 2014, but he is more of a racer than a time trialist.

They don't last long--ask any bodybuilder who has discontinued steroid use and has deflated overnight. Gatlin isn't mysteriously benefiting from drugs he took before his last ban. He's benefiting from drugs he's been taking this year, if not right now.
