Well, was she sick? If so, it is absolutely the wrong thing to do to site next to her competitors. This isn't controversial. Even your mother would tell you that.

She was sick. But in all likelihood she might have awaken the day before feeling fine and then the illness came on as the day progressed and she woke up sick. Years ago I caught an extremely virulent flu virus. Woke up that morning feeling Ok. Walked down the block to a friends, then walked back and on the way back I suddenly felt light headed. By that night the flu had leveled me and I did not recuperate fully for three weeks.

I don’t know. I even don’t know what type of sickness she had. But you made so many claims against Tuohy and Henes, so you may have more inside information. Please tell us more.
After watching the race again today I think Tuohy can thank Sophie O'Sullivan. I didn't see any of the Northern Arizona girls do anything particularly wrong approaching the finish. But the glaring late reversal was O'Sullivan summoning greater energy and picking the correct line. She was a couple of meters behind Northern Arizona's 5th with roughly 10 meters remaining. But O'Sullivan wisely ran toward the open gap at far right while Allandrea Upshaw of Northern Arizona was not only more spent but she was running toward the back of stalled traffic at the line.
They really need to widen that finish area. National titles should not be decided by logjams. It reminds me of my dear departed mom. Her tendency all her life was to enter a store and then immediately stop and look around. Often it caused hard braking behind her, especially with escalator entrances.
Somebody here posted that Northern Arizona would have won the tiebreaker. O'Sullivan prevented that from happening, which removed greater scrutiny on Tuohy.

She did scoot around her to her credit, but ended up 0.5 seconds ahead of Upshaw. Stephens of NC St held on the beat 2 other runners with the identical time (to 1 tenth of a second) as her. Reiss of NAU finished behind Frentheway of BYU by 0.1 seconds (one of only 2 BYU runners who seemed ran well). Smee of NAU was edged by 0.1 seconds by Gill of AL. A lot of close finishes all of which broke for NC St. Of such are miracles made.
tbh winning this thing was like the butterfly effect. On paper they should not have won.
They would not have won were it not for Stearns also having a bad day, or BYU having a bad day, and so on. Bush showing up and passing 14 people, Tyynismaa running well .. it all had to go right (or wrong depending on your perspective) for NC state to pull it off. I don't think any one person or event in the race can be credited with the outcome.

Great analysis. For those that believe in it, one word sums it all up. Destiny.

Was she coughing or sneezing?
No. Letsrun is spreading lies that she was a sick hero.
You might be too dumb to know or remember this, but half the Trump Admin caught COVID outside in the Rose Garden of the White House three years ago, after the morons scoffed at the idea of wearing masks or keeping some distance.
I recall Tuohy making it clear that she had run her last indoor season as a collegiate at the end of last year. She graduates in December and has other plans. She’s not a professional entertainer, nor is Valby. I see both of them declaring their plans by the end of the year. Henes has implied as much in her interview. I’m sure her daughter, a close Tuohy friend, is attempting to bring her to Flagstaff so that they can train together at altitude, and possibly room together. I can see KT closing a record pro contract. The NIL deal is only a fraction of her market value. If within their plans they both decide to meet at BU, I very much doubt it will be representing their Alma Maters.
I don't think most fans care much who they represent. I just wanna see the two of them race, and hopefully run some great times.
