How does today's performance affect Nico and Mike Smith's legacy?
Discus.
(this is a joke btw)
You are joking, but the sad thing is that the idiot haters on this board have the most unrealistic expectations and nothing short of Nico winning every race he is in will ever satisfy them. Nico is now a 12:45 5k runner and the idiots still will not shut up about the Nike/Adidas controversy and a lackluster last two cross country races, the results of which mean nothing in the scheme of things. I’d like to see Nico go out and smash Grant’s 10k record to milk the tears from the haters, but these idiots will just be mad that he comes up short of the WR. These people are nuts.

I don’t think his new training situation is good, and it’s showing in his recent races.

You mean his last two races? We are supposed to be such prisoners of the moment to believe that two off season races represent a decline?

His last 2 races don't mean "nothing" but they certainly won't define his career!
He has probably exceeded every possible expectation anyone could have thought of. 12:45?
