Grant Fisher Runs 12:51 5K, UW Leads 3 Teams Under NCAA DMR Record at Boston University
Fisher missed the American record by .23 just five days after running an 8:03.62 AR in the 2-mile at Millrose. The UW, Providence, & BYU women all ran super fast DMRs.
*UW breaks American record in DMR at Arkansas (9:18.81) The fastest anchor split actually went to UVA's Gary Martin who ran 3:51.

Q&A: Evan Jager on His Return to the Steeple, Taking on New Rivals from Ethiopia, and How Long He Plans to Continue Running Professionally
Jager reveals that some Achilles issues "really, really delayed my training a lot more than I was hoping for" but he's feeling good now and when pressed admits he considers himself to be the favorite for the US trials. But he says what the Ethiopians did this winter was a "wakeup call." As for whether he's near retirement, Jager emphatically said, "No. I’m still hungry. I’m still having fun. I love training with the guys. When I’m healthy, running is still one of my favorite things in the world to do. "

2020 UW Invitational Distance Results: Evan Jager Is Back With 3:56 Mile Win; Shelby Houlihan Runs Impressive 4:23/2:01 Double
Behind Houlihan, Karissa Schweizer ran a quick 4:24.32 for second while Sean McGorty came in behind Jager with 3:57.19. Besides Jager and Houlihan, the rest of BTC cleaned house as well with Colleen Quigley winning the 3000m in 8:44.83 and Marc Scott taking the men's race in 7:49.65.
