I think Obiri is vulnerable if Ayana is in shape. That was dominant, but I honestly expected sub 8:20 from her there, and she just didn't have it. Remember Ayana closed in sub 8:20 two years ago.
Sorry but this track aint 400m.
Hellen Obiri is in sensational form. Beatrice Chepkoech is in steeple WR shape. Laura Muir doubling may be a bridge too far.

The testosterone numbers don't lie. I don't know what Niyonsaba has tested at but let that be the deciding factor.
Neither does appearance. If I saw that (Niyonsaba) in the women's changing rooms, I'd be thinking wtf. Never seen a woman who looked like that. Obviously I'm meant to come from some obscure part of an obscure African nation with a lot of consanguity to be able to know what I'm talking about to correctly identify someone of being of my own gender or not, but that's not a female.
Good to see Muir back
WTF is Helen pushing it 2 weeks before Worlds??
She has done a lot of running this year, and wonder if it will cost her.
She looks outstanding, but save some for the big level. I think Ayana is going to destroy people.

Eh, Obiri got screwed by bad pacemaking
Seriously, why can the diamond league never got good pacing for the womens distance events
Not sure why you think Muir is unfit. She's a 1500m runner who just set PB's in the 800 and 3000. That's normally not a sign of a 1500m runner being unfit,

Because any woman that can run 408 from the front wants to race unless she's poor and from Africa.

I do still wonder sometimes if anyone has actually measured it.

That classifies as back???
What happened to Houlihan? In the coverage, with 2 laps to go, she was right behind Rowbury. Then in the next shot to that group, she was nowhere to be seen. At the finish line, it looked like she finished way back of the Rowbury group.
She really faded the last 600-800 meters. :(

Her indoor 3000m PR is 8:26 I think? Muir doesn't look to be a medal threat in either the 1500m or 5000m.
Muir is off her indoors drugs.

She lost training time due to injury this spring. Last year she ran 3:55, the world leader. Doubtful she can run close to that this year.
Where was Molly Huddle? She was on the original start list for the 3000.
I don't blame her. I think the pace was too hot. Don't need to go crazy 2 weeks out before Worlds. Just work on some speed, and be done with it..
She will be ready at 5000m. I think she will medal, that's if dibaba scratches and just focuses on 1500m. If not, then it's going to be between dibaba, obiri, and ayana
