The Ghosts have been my primary shoe of choice for a long time. There is no area they either excel or lack in, they are just very solid all around. They also seem to be indestructible. Although I was a bigger fan of the older models, the Ghost 15's still hold true to what has made the Ghost line so good.
This is a solid, down-to-earth training shoe, especially for someone like me whose gait / form is unstable enough that newer supershoe-like trainers cause mechanical problems. I wish it were a little less expensive, but it is very durable, very comfortable and available in many colors so I can always find one I fancy. I've used my Brooks Ghosts to walk in after about 400-500 miles of running, and they last for a couple years (roughly 1000 miles) after that.
I am an old runner....70 years old. I bought them strictly for their shock absorption capabilities. The insoles did not hold up well so I replaced them with of Dr. Scholls inserts. They are so much more comfortable to run in now.
Really glad I made the switch from more minimalist/low-drop shoes after a long battle with achilles soreness. They're not super fast, but I never really think about them when I'm running and that's all I really want at my age (40).
I got a little over 500 miles on them before they were starting to feel really worn out without any other issues, so definitely a good value.
No complaints about these puppies. I’ve been running for 50 years and know what I like and these are winners as far as flexibility, stability, and heel-to-toe push off go.
I need a wider toe box but don't like the bulk of many wide box shoes. The Brooks Ghost 15 is my favorite by far.
The color way and style of the shoe makes the appearance a 10/10 and it is very durable, with 400 Miles on them and no sign of breaking or deteriorating. It does not have a lot of cushioning so you will start to feel all those steps after a while, and it's comfortable but not too comfortable. The value is great, especially if you buy it at a discount.
The fit is good. Works well for my feed (high arches). I've run in several pairs of these and don't plan on switching to anything else
Me encanta tanto el zapato que no puedo describirlo correctamente sin sonar parcial. Sienten que te hace sentir como si fueras Usaim Boly (si eres negro). Esa respuesta que puedes lograr si, a diferencia de cualquier cosa que sentí
