Doesn't Toni Reavis do that one? If so he's good.
Rojo just put on headphones and stream the NBCSN one.
I may do that they are talking about "the able bodied women" as if it's not clear that's who they are talking about. I think 100% of the people know they aren't talking about the wheelchair racers.
Here are the stats. There are 35 entrants in the men's wheelchair and 15 entrants in the women's wheelchair.
In terms of runners, there are more than 30,000 and it will be the third largest Boston ever. SO if you wonder why we focus on the runners and not wheelchair it's because there are thousands more competitors.
That woman in pink's form is awful.
Winners.
Sammy Kitwara
Joyce Chepkurui.
I have called it.
Of course the commentators are not mentioning Sarah crouch or Neely Spence at all. Even calling Sarah "that women" when mentioning her stride. I know they are non't are best US female runners but the commentators should know who they are since they are our top US women.
18:22 @5K for the women

Meb was just interviewed and said its good weather for running the marathon.
Fixed. Damn autocorrect.
How does Wesley Korir find time to be an MP and train for marathons?
Women
Mile 1 - 6:04
Mile 2 - 5:36 (11:52)
Mile 3 - 5:53
They just announced in the medai room that Neely Spence's father won the race 26 years ago - the day she was born. Yes, they just announced that Steve Spence won the Boston marathon in 1990.
Can someone change the wikipedia page? It lists Gelindo Bordin as the winner. I don't have time to change it.

It's two women right now, Tollefson maybe?
Maybe the male commentators come on for the men's race.
It's Switzer and the local bubble headed news anchor. I think Tony is waiting in the wings.

Apparently a marathon is now 42,000 KILOMETERS...jesus christ Rawson...
