Would be a great idea if Iaaf were to consider giving automatic qualification to World indoor and World half marathon champs to the Olympics and Iaaf World championships but restrict the total per country to four runners. That would enable Kenya send four girls to the event, absorbing the huge numbers at the moment. Maybe most of these girls should try their hands on the 5000m, the weakest event at the moment for Kenya largely due to the sudden upswing of Genzebe Dibaba and Almaz Ayana. Some of these half marathoners may have the kind of speed needed to stop the Ethiopians in the 5000m.
