Leaving aside any pointless comparison to Valby, I'm really impressed with Keith's progress. She's clicking off those Olympic standards with ease and there's every reason to think she can get better and start challenging the British records in the next 5 years. It's exciting to have a young distance runner at this level for Britain because the cupboard is looking pretty bare on the womens side.
Anyways, a great run for Keith. And given how hard conditions were (Gidey failing to break 14:30?), I think there's at least 14:35 in the tank for her this year. Maybe even sub-14:30 if she catches a good race in Europe later this season.
Valby is way younger than Keith - April to September is a huge difference. She would be in a completely different grade in HS - even assuming that she isnt age- cheating (like most non- Americans do).
Yes Medina Eisa. She ran a 9.04 indoor 2 mile but was disqualified. However she has just set a world 5k road race world junior record of 14.38. One to watch.

6 months a big difference in your 20's? You're joking.
