You can see the adidas "three stripes" on his shoes quite clearly here.
They also lack a Swoosh.

How have you guys never noticed this before? He has literally done it forever. Up until recently, he didn't even put the tape over the stripes.
This isn't entirely uncommon. Barshim doesn't wear Nike spikes for the HJ either.

I'm still confused as to why Nike would allow this, given that they apparently don't let people wear a Brooks T-Shirt when buying a cup of coffee.
Because he hasn't got a sponsor.. Left Nike; went to Li Ning and now does not have a sponsor..
