A lot going on right now.
I thought this deserved it's own thread.
Centro just passed Alan Webb for the fastest 1500m run by an American born athlete.
#3 American all time US behind Lagat and Maree, both who competed for other countries as an adult.
Maree, ironically as a person of color, was not allowed to compete for South
Africa because of the way they treated people of color in South Africa, became a US citizen top compete internationally.
Lagat's PR happened while competing for Kenya.
Matthew Centrowitz 3:30.40 - Fastest American born 1500m ever

So? He is a doper and a punk to boot.

I don't know of one single performance that I am sure is clean.
But I do know that this is faster than many doped performances. -

Centro is 50% Guyanan. He could run for Guyana and be a national record holder at several distances. -

I like your response. Hilarious in this context.
People still watch the Tour de France. -
Tenth place finish.

What does Webb's 3:46.91 mile equate to for a 1500?

3:30.10 -
That's using a formula. 3:46.91 is stronger than 3:30. How many times has that been run?

Yes, let's ignore math and science. Who needs real formulas? Are you sure your name isn't Ventolin? -
the total number of races at 1500m and the number at mile play a role in the question how many time has that been run.
.
attempted to go out with 432 women got dates with 420

no wonder he is such a d bag. I bet he sings GAS-0-Lina during his warmups or some soca crap. -
Ventolin uses formulas heavily. But I know the difference between precision and accuracy. A mathematical conversion of 1.08x is very precise without necessarily being all that accurate. The mile is contested at the height of the European season on numerous occasions every year with very few athletes going anywhere close to their 1.08x conversions from 1500m. It's not only that they run more 1500's. There's a different mindset between the two events; the pacers leave you more to do on your own; 800m/1500m guys sometimes are less able to handle the extra distance.

Excellent!!
How about this:
In the 1950's more people died from their first heart attack than do in the 2010's.
In the 1950's fewer people drove cars than do in the 2010's.
Conclusion:
Driving a car will help you survive your first heart attack. -

If Centrowitz wanted to put in the paper work, he could be a national record holder for any one of probably at least 180 different countries, give or take, at several distances - most of those distances would be around 1500 M in length but just pointing that out.
